Bible Translation
The King James Version (KJV) is the primary translation used for direct biblical quotations. Capitalization and punctuation may be lightly standardized for readability. Explanatory card text and event summaries are paraphrases rather than direct quotations unless quotation marks and a reference indicate otherwise.
Other translations may be compared where an English rendering affects the discussion, but the interpretive argument is intended to rest upon the biblical text rather than a distinctive wording found in only one translation.
