THE SEVENTH-DAY SABBATH
The Coming
Millennium
Christ’s return brings light at the end of the evening and begins the transition from mortal history toward the Morning of the Divine Day.

The Millennium
is the Dawn.
The Wheel of Ages identifies the thousand-year reign described in Revelation 20 as Millennium 7 of Divine Day 3: the seventh-day Sabbath of mortal history and the transition between Evening and Morning.
The return of Jesus announces the arrival of light. The Millennium is the Dawn transition during which His reign is established.
REVELATION 20:1–6 · THIS CORRESPONDENCE IS THE INTERPRETIVE FRAMEWORK PROPOSED BY THE WHEEL OF AGES.THE SEVENTH-DAY PATTERN
Six days conclude.
The seventh remains open.
The first six Creation Days conclude with evening and morning. Genesis records no corresponding conclusion for the seventh day. The Wheel reads that omission typologically—as an open Sabbath transition rather than another repetition of the preceding six days.
The seventh omits the repeated conclusion. Just as Creation Day 7 has no recorded “evening and morning,” the Wheel proposes that the seventh millennium of history functions as Sabbath rest and Dawn rather than another ordinary Evening-to-Morning period.
GENESIS 1:5–31 · GENESIS 2:1–3 · ZECHARIAH 14:7THE DAY WITHOUT EVENING
“At evening time it shall be light.”ZECHARIAH 14:7
Zechariah describes a unique day known to the LORD that does not conform to the ordinary distinction between day and night. The prophecy joins this altered light with the Lord standing upon the Mount of Olives, living waters flowing from Jerusalem, and the LORD becoming King over all the earth.
Within the Wheel’s framework, the imagery corresponds with the Millennium as Dawn—after the darkness of mortal history, but before the full Morning and Eternal Age.
“THE DAY WITHOUT EVENING” IS A THEMATIC DESCRIPTION, NOT A FORMAL BIBLICAL TITLE FOR THE MILLENNIUM.THE KING UPON THE EARTH
The return of Jesus
opens the Sabbath reign.
The following sequence brings several passages together. Where Scripture does not state the transitions as one continuous narrative, the order is identified as the Wheel of Ages’ proposed understanding.
Jesus descends
The Lord returns from heaven in power and glory.
ZECHARIAH 14:4 · ACTS 1:11His followers meet Him
The dead in Christ rise and His people are caught up to meet the Lord in the air.
1 THESSALONIANS 4:16–17The King is established
The Wheel proposes that those gathered to Jesus accompany Him toward His earthly reign.
ZECHARIAH 14:9 · REVELATION 19:11–16Satan is bound
The deceiver is restrained so that he cannot deceive the nations during the thousand years.
REVELATION 20:1–3The saints reign
Jesus reigns with His resurrected people for one thousand years.
REVELATION 20:4–6SABBATH REST FOR HUMANITY
Rest is not inactivity.
It is righteous order.
After six millennia marked by labor, conflict, sin, death, and human government, the seventh introduces rest under Jesus, the Last Adam.
TWO CONDITIONS OF HUMANITY
A kingdom between
two orders.
The prophetic descriptions associated with this period appear to place continued mortal life beside the reign of resurrected saints. This makes the Millennium neither merely a continuation of the present age nor yet the final Eternal Age.
Earthly life continues.
- Children and families
- Houses and vineyards
- Work and nations
- Extraordinary longevity
- Death remains possible
The saints reign with Christ.
- Raised incorruptible
- Embodied and glorified
- Patterned after the risen Jesus
- Reigning with the King
- No power of the second death
Scripture does not explicitly connect Zechariah’s unusual light with these two conditions of humanity. The Wheel presents them as complementary features of a transitional age—not as proof of one another.
DAWN IS NOT THE END
The Sabbath begins
a greater transition.
The Wheel does not place the Eternal Age immediately after Christ’s thousand-year reign. It proposes a continuing sevenfold Morning sequence culminating in God With Us. This extended chronology is distinctive to the Wheel of Ages and is not conventional premillennial teaching.
