Genesis 1:14–19

Sun, Moon & Stars symbol
¹⁴ And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: ¹⁵ And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. ¹⁶ And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. ¹⁷ And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, ¹⁸ And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. ¹⁹ And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

THE APPOINTED PATTERN

Temple Article & Feast Day Correspondence

The same sevenfold order is reflected in the articles of the Temple and in the Feasts of the Lord.

DAY 4 · Age of Truth · TEMPLE ARTICLE

Golden Lampstand

Exodus 25:31–40 · John 8:12

The lampstand is the sanctuary’s appointed light. Like the sun, moon, and stars of the fourth day, it governs sacred space by illumination and points to Christ, the true Light, and to His Spirit-lit witnesses.

DAY 4 · Age of Truth · FEAST OF THE LORD

Pentecost

Leviticus 23:15–22 · Acts 2:1–4

The fourth day appoints lights for signs, seasons, days, and years. At the appointed Feast of Pentecost, heavenly fire rests upon the disciples and the Spirit makes them lights bearing the testimony of Christ to the world.
