THE UNVEILING OF JESUS CHRIST

Revelation

The Book of Revelation unfolds as a mirror: seven Creation patterns descend toward a central proclamation in heaven, then rise toward the restoration of all things.

SEVEN DAYSFORTY-NINE PAIRSONE JUBILEE

THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE VISION

A sevenfold pattern
within a chiasm.

A chiasm arranges related passages around a central point. Here, the visions move backward from Revelation 12 toward the opening chapter while their counterparts move forward from Revelation 12 toward the closing chapter.

The resulting forty-nine correspondences fall into seven groups of seven. Each group echoes one day of Creation and its prophetic pattern. A fiftieth correspondence closes the structure as a Jubilee announcement: the things that must happen quickly culminate in Christ’s promise, “Surely I am coming quickly.”

THE MIDPOINT · REVELATION 12:10
“Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ.”

The voice from heaven stands at the center of the literary mirror. Everything before it moves toward this declaration; everything after it unfolds from Christ’s victory and authority.

THE JUBILEE CORRESPONDENCE

The promise at the beginning
is answered by the promise at the end.

REVELATION 1:1“Things which must quickly come to pass.”
REVELATION 22:20“Surely I am coming quickly.”

THE PATTERN COMPLETED

From unveiling
to dwelling.

Revelation is not a disconnected sequence of frightening images. Its mirrored architecture moves from conflict and deception toward judgment, restoration, the tree of life, and God dwelling with humanity. The book’s conclusion fulfills the rest toward which the seven-day Creation pattern has always pointed.
