Each movement of Creation establishes a pattern echoed across the Ages of History.
Light & Darkness
Light is divided from darkness; the first age opens the pattern of evening and morning within God's greater Divine Day.
Genesis 1:3–5The Expanse
The expanse separates Heaven from Earth, separating waters above from waters below.
Genesis 1:6–8Earth & Seed
Dry land appears and the earth brings forth seed—life ordered by kind.
Genesis 1:9–13Lights & Seasons
Sun, moon and stars are set in the Expanse to govern the day and the night marking signs for seasons, days and years.
Genesis 1:14–19Life in Sea & Sky
Fish and Birds multiply filling water and sky.
Genesis 1:20–23Life upon the Earth
Animals and mankind multiply covering the Earth at the culmination of God's work week.
Genesis 1:24–31Rest at the Threshold
The seventh day marks the day of completion, rest and the transition before a new cycle begins.
Genesis 2:1–3The apostle John describes history as darkness into which the Light shines. Creation reveals what this darkness means: before God speaks, the earth is without form and void, darkness covers the deep, and the Spirit of God hovers over the waters.
Within this pattern, night is the season in which God’s visible work has not yet begun, though His Spirit hovers. Day is the season in which God works openly in wonderful ways. Evening gives way to dawn, dawn to morning and day, and day at last settles into dusk.
Six millennia of historical night therefore lead to a seventh millennium of dawn—a threshold between night and day. The seven days of Creation belong to the lightward half of the cycle: six days of God’s wondrous work culminate in the seventh-day dusk of rest. Scripture omits “there was evening and there was morning” from the seventh day, leaving the Sabbath as an open threshold of completion and rest.

THE PATTERN OF EVENING, DAWN, MORNING & DUSK
Every twenty-four-hour day bears witness to this greater cycle: one Divine Day stretching across 14,000 years—6,000 + 1,000 + 6,000 + 1,000. This night-to-dusk order is the foundation upon which the Wheel of Ages is established.
